The 2nd Chances That Won't Run Out

I love God's Word. There has not been a time when I read it and not be filled. It is up to us how quickly we mature and willing to learn from God. (take the time and prioritize your life) S.O.A.P Scripture.Observe.Apply.Pray S.  Today I read Mark 16:7 " Now go and tell his disciples, including Peter , that Jesus is going ahead of you into Galilee. You will see him there, just as he told you before he died." O.  God gives us clear directions. Being a Christian also requires us to be in action. Jesus had 12 disciples including Peter. The angel made a special mention of Peter, because Jesus wanted to show him that he still loves him, even though Peter denied him. If you read the story of Peter, you will find a man that was very impulsive and had his foot to many times in his mouth. He was a follower of Jesus. At times he was a little aggressive, but genuinely loved Jesus. This is the same man who said to Jesus:" Even if everyone else deserts you, I never wi

A typical travel day for me...

Travel blog Saturday, Oct. 29 th 2011 NYC – LAX I thank God every day for waking me up. Especially when I only had 4 hrs of sleep. Before I went to bed I prepped everything for the next morning, bags packed, check. Clothes laid out ready to wear, check. Phone charged, check. Important docs together, check. Snacks for the morning, check. Taxi booked, check and the list goes on. It is so important to plan ahead as best as you can to prevent any crazy last minute actions. Little did I know? I woke up to my smart alarm 15 min. earlier at 4:15am. Common alarm, don’t be robbing me of my sleep. How many of you would go right back to sleep after hitting the snooze button? I’m not a big snooze button friend, unlike my husband. But when you are deprived from sleep, it becomes your best friend. Well, not really in my case. My alarm clock never buzzed again. Somehow, I felt something tugging me to wake up! The Holy Spirit does not play around with you. Now it’s 4:51a

Living For God

1 Peter 4:1-11 NLT "So then, since Christ suffered physical pain, you must arm yourselves with the same attitude he had, and be ready to suffer, too. For if you have suffered physically for Christ, you have finished with sin. You won’t spend the rest of your lives chasing your own desires, but you will be anxious to do the will of God. You have had enough in the past of the evil things that godless people enjoy—their immorality and lust, their feasting and drunkenness and wild parties, and their terrible worship of idols. Of course, your former friends are surprised when you no longer plunge into the flood of wild and destructive things they do. So they slander you. But remember that they will have to face God, who will judge everyone, both the living and the dead. That is why the Good News was preached to those who are now dead—so although they were destined to die like all people, they now live forever with God in the Spirit. The end of the world is comin

Problem Solving – Confrontation In Love

Problem Solving – Confrontation In Love S.O.A.P = Scripture.Observe.Apply.Pray! Scripture 2 Corinthians 13:11 Be joyful. Grow to maturity. Encourage each other. Live in harmony and peace. Then the God of love and peace will be with you. (NLT) 2 Corinthians 13:11 Finally, brothers and sisters, rejoice! Strive for full restoration, encourage one another, be of one mind , and live in peace. And the God of love and peace will be with you. (NIV) Reference: Philippians 4:4 Always be joyful in the Lord, I say it again rejoice! (No matter what Apostle Paul went through, he never got tired to tell the people to rejoice). – Our inner attitude does not have to reflect our outward circumstances! God is very clear in His Word. He gives us many practical ways and directions for us to follow His example. Observe   God wants us to be joyful, to grow, to be mature, to encourage, to live in harmony and peace with each other. God is love and God is peace.

And may they be in us so that the world will believe you sent me.
22 “I have given them the glory you gave me, so they may be one as we are one. 23 I am in them and you are in me. May they experience such perfect UNITY that the world will know that you sent me and that you love them as much as you love me. - Jesus prayed for UNITY, protection from the evil one, and holiness. Knowing that Jesus prayed for us should give us confidence as we work for His Kingdom. Jesus’ great desire for his disciples wa

What I learned from Christine Caine

Women's conference Christine Caine Session 1 Friday, July 15th We all have a Spiritual core Matthew 22:32,38 Heart - Complete heart, soul and our mind - Somebody gets us fired up, and we start running with a weak spiritual core. We got to strengthen out core first. - So many are so busy to do the Christian things, instead of being a Christian - Christianity is an internal heart program - If I keep my heart healthy it's amazing how the blood pumps freely, same with our spiritual life it becomes healthy by discipline of my devotion to God and reading the Word daily... - For some Christianity is an obligation, you got to keep the want to! You do what you want out of passion - No one has to make you tithe, witness, go to church, or read your Word - God says my heart can't flow through you with the sins in your life...jealousy, insecurity, lust, unfaithfulness.... - There are 6 major reasons why people are having an affair - lust, selfishness, pride.... - We can have a spiritual
